Join us for the EV Route 66 Scavenger Hunt, a self-paced adventure where teams explore America’s most iconic highway, complete fun challenges, and meet up at the final destination in McLean, IL for prizes, a car show and celebration!

No strict schedules, no checkpoints—just your EV, Route 66, and the open road.

The event is open to all teams and cars especially historic cars and trucks but the theme is Electric Vehicles

📅 Event Details

🗓 Date: Saturday, April 12 with a rain date of April 19 if needed
📍 Route: Select locations along Route 66
🏁 Finish Line: Meet-up at the Dixie Truck Stop Diner and Route 66 Museum, McLean, IL for awards & celebration
🎟 Entry Fee: $200 per team includes 2 T-shirts and dinner, your entry fee is 100% tax deductible contribution to Prairie Guardians, an Illinois 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We want everyone to participate who wants to, so if you can’t make the $200 donation, it’s no problem, just email us to reserve your spot and we will help you. If you want to be a part of the fun and adventure but can’t do the scavenger hunt, you can sponsor a team and win prizes when they do well. Email us at prairieguardians@gmail.com for more info

2️⃣ Hit the Road – Complete challenges at your own pace (snap pics, check in at landmarks, etc.)
3️⃣ Submit Your Entries – Upload photos/videos via [Google Forms, GooseChase app, or social media with #EV66Hunt]
4️⃣ Meet at the Finish Line! – Join us in McLean for awards, food, and fun!
